Corrections Policy
Accuracy is our highest commitment. When we get something wrong, we say so clearly.
Types of corrections
- Factual Correction — A fact was wrong. We correct the article and display a correction notice at the top.
- Typographical Correction — Minor wording or spelling error. Corrected silently or with a note.
- Update — A developing story has changed. New information is added and the article is marked as updated.
- Withdrawal — An article cannot be corrected adequately. It is removed with a transparent note explaining why.
How we handle corrections
All corrections are logged internally with the date, what was wrong, what was fixed, and who authorised the correction. Significant factual corrections are displayed at the top of the article.
